Pastoral Care Ministry
Pastoral Care involves building wholesome relationships with people, but it also involves bringing the presence of Jesus into a person’s life at critical times of need. At First Church, this ministry is primarily carried out by our Pastoral Care Elders (PCE’s). PCE’s are called by God to be the reflection and presence of Jesus to the Body of Christ in times of need, and in routine pastoral care. In their ministry PCE’s strive to CARE:
Available in times of need
Remember in prayer
Exemplify Christ’s attitude of humility and service
