At First Church, we want to walk in the Holy Spirit and exemplify all the fullness of Christ. In order to grow deeper in our walks with God, we offer many different opportunities for adults of all ages.

Helping men become disciples of Jesus Christ by loving the Word, learning the Word and living the Word in the context of loving, accountable relationships.

Worship: The Ultimate Priority
Men & Women
Led by Pastor Bob Johnson
Sunday at 11 am in the Small Social Hall
Worship is the theme of Scripture. So why do we treat it as only what is sung or played in church on Sunday morning? You will learn that worship is any essential expression of service rendered unto God by a soul that loves and extols Him for who He is.

This active group draws many of our retirees, but no matter what age you are, you are sure to enjoy the fellowship and interesting topics. Keenagers meets the 2nd Monday of March-May and September-December at 1:30 pm in the Large Fellowship Hall.

Men’s Events                                                                                     Periodically through the year, the guys get together for an outing. Last year they went to see the Minnesota Twins vs. the Boston Red Sox!

Wednesday Evening Fellowship Meal
From September to March, our Wednesday evenings are full of great food and fellowship and the life of our church’s families. Dinner begins at 5:30 pm, with kids activities beginning at 6:15 pm. If you want to get to know our church better, here’s a good place to start. Come and bring a friend or two!

Care Ministry
Care Ministry involves building wholesome relationships with people, but it also involves bringing the presence of Jesus into a person’s life at critical times of need. At First Church, this ministry is primarily carried out by our Care Shepherds. Care Shepherd are called by God to be the reflection and presence of Jesus to the Body of Christ in times of need, and in routine care. In their ministry Care Shepherds strive to CARE:

 Contact periodically

 Available in times of need

 Remember in prayer

Exemplify Christ’s attitude of humility and service
