Children and Family Ministry

MISSION
Jesus loves children and so do we. (Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." - Matthew 19:14)

We will show this by providing a safe and nurturing environment for all God’s children to grow in love and devotion to God.

KNOW, GROW, SHOW, AND GO
We value children as precious members of our church. We want kids to KNOW each member of the Trinity personally, continue to GROW spiritually, to SHOW God’s love and grace to everyone, and ultimately to GO out and make disciples of Christ all for the glory and honor of God.

Sunday School - 10:00 am
Children's Chapel

(3 yr old - 6th grade)

Sunday School, also known as “The Way,” allows children of all ages to experience God through music, art,  drama and personal reflection.

Kids Own Worship (3 yr old - 5th grade)

Children begin the first worship service with their parents.  When the KOW symbol appears on the screen, they leave for an age appropriate worship experience.

Nursery - ages 0 - 3

Nursery is provided during both morning services (9:00 & 11:00) and also during Wednesday night activities. 

Midweek Connections (Sept thru March)

Camp Agape (ages 3 - 1st grade), 6:30 - 7:30, Children's Chapel

Children will actively experience Biblical truths on God’s love and grace through storytelling, creative play, crafts and singing.

GEMS (Girls, 2nd - 8th grade) 6:30 - 8pm, DeJong CoffeeHouse

GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) is a place to learn about God through Bible lessons, songs, crafts and outings.

Cadets (Boys, 2nd - 8th grade) 6:30 - 8pm, Cadet Garage

Cadets spend time learning and applying their faith while being mentored by men in the church.
