The prayer request cards in the pews are for you to share prayer requests for Prayer Care. Let us be a people who upholds one another in prayer.

Prayer Ministry
*Pray for those who are recovering from illness and surgeries.
* Pray for God's comfort and love to be with the family of Marie Boat, for Melvin and Leona Pothoven and the family with the death of Leona's sister, Anna Mae Vander Beek, for Anna Mae Rus with the recent death of her sister in law, Arloene Hoeksema.
* Pray for God's blessing on the GEMS, the Cadets and their leaders; pray for God's Love for them to be felt in their hearts and lives and are His servants as they prepared for the Souper Bowl Lunch today.

Upper Room Prayer Room is available each Sunday morning for any individuals who desire to meet with the Lord in a time of quiet meditation, reflection or for prayer. Please feel free to go to the Upper Room anytime on Sunday or during the week to pray.

Pastor's Prayer Fellowship
Tuesdays from 7:00-7:30 a.m.
Fridays from 12:15-12:45 p.m. Meet in the Upper Room to pray for the church, the community and the world.

Preparing the Way: Pastor Paul will be hosting small group conversations to prepare the way for the work of a pastor search committee on Wednesday evenings and some Sunday afternoons and evenings during January and February. Sign up sheets with the conversations guides are at the Happenin' Headquarter desk. Pick a time that suits you best and plan to join the discussion.

Thank you
to everyone for your prayers and kind words regarding the passing of my father-in-law. I'd like to extend a big Thank You to Eleanor for covering for me on Friday, January 27th so we could get a head start on our travels due to inclement weather. Weather Cancellation Policy
—Wednesday night activities are cancelled if there is no school that day, or if school is let out early. Sunday Worship will be determined by the morning weather conditions. No Children's Midweek Activities February 15th Due to Parent Teacher Conference week, Gems, Cadets and Camp Agape will not be meeting on February 15th. As a Faith at Home church we want to support families during Parent Teacher Conference week. Since it can be a very busy, out of routine and stressful week we have decided to cancel Gems, Cadets and Camp Agape during that week to allow your family time to breathe. There will still be Midweek Meals available that week so you are still invited to come and eat as a family. Any questions please let Travis know. Thank you!

No Sunday School or Kid's Own Worship February 19th. Due to Teen's Encountering Christ being hosted in our church February 16-19th we will not have Sunday School or Kid's Own Worship on February 19th. If you have any questions please see Travis Albers

Thank you for opening your doors for the upcoming TEC 49. (Feb./17, 18, 19) Our Bible verse for the weekend is Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore, since you are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. CHANGE IN DATE Due to TEC (Teen's Encountering Christ) being hosted in our church, Fren'zy Route 66 has been rescheduled to February 23 at 6:30 pm. The Sign-up form is located on the Happenin' table! Cost of meal $5.00

"Crazy Love" by Francis Chan - Join us beginning Sunday, February 12th at 12:10 pm in Room 305. The sign-up form is located on the Happenin' Table! Childcare is provided and please bring a dish to pass.

Community Events
Pella Regional Health Center New Adult Grief Support Group. Beginning February 14 adults who have experienced a loss are invited to "Coffee, Conversation and Comfort" offered by Hospice of Pella, lower level of Comfort House, 505 Union St. This new group will meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month (9:30—10:30 a.m.) for a come-and-go coffee time with an opportunity to share thoughts or concerns in a safe and caring environment.
