How you can help Haiti
Mark your calendars for Meals from the Heartland event coming to Pella on April 17

Shoe Drive! Drop off any lightly used (or new!) shoes in the box anytime in the month of February! When you drop off shoes, please place a rubber band (provided on the back table) around the shoes and leave $1-2 to help with the shipping costs (if you are able).

Have you got old or unused t-shirts that you don't wear anymore? Donate them to the relief effort in Haiti!
In Haiti, locals must sleep on dirt floors with not so much as a blanket between their bodies and the earth, even before the earthquake. Mission Haiti has a plan to change that.
72 t-shirts creates one sleeping mat for a person in Haiti. The t-shirts are cut into strips which are crocheted into one large rug that can be slept on.

You can still assemble your own Hygiene Kit for Church World Service. Baggies with a list of items are on the back table. Approximate cost: $10-15. The Outreach Purpose Group would like to invite you to see your money at work on Wednesday, March 10 at 6:30 in the Large Social Hall we will put together the kits. This will take place after the midweek meal. Everyone is invited to help put these kits together.
